At Home ReSource, we honor the value of people, community and materials, and this is evident in the:
- 900+ tons of materials we keep out of the landfill and cycling through our community annually;
- the 30+ employees on our payroll each year;
- the donations we make to local nonprofits, schools and community events;
- and the 96% of our revenue that we spend locally.
We are reducing waste:
Almost everything we sell in the store is donated to Home ReSource by the public, and much of it would go to the landfill without our store.
We are building a more vibrant and sustainable economy:
Our retail operation employs 20 permanent staff and up to 15 more temporary employees and interns each year, and we spend 96% of our revenue in the local economy (nearly a million dollars a year).
