Volunteer Manager

Summary: The Volunteer Manager is an exciting new position and will be responsible for building systems and processes to recruit, coordinate, train, and appreciate volunteers and community service members who give their time to Home ReSource. This position will build on the current success with goals to grow the number of volunteers, and in turn, the impact of waste diversion in our community. The Volunteer Manager will work within all facets of Home ReSource and have the opportunity to shape the program. Home ReSource is seeking a dynamic, people-centered Volunteer Manager to help Home ReSource build and expand volunteerism at Home ReSource’s ReUse Store, Green Team events, and other programs.

This position pays $20.00-$22.00/hour. The typical schedule for this role will be Monday-Friday, with some weekend and evening events; these will be communicated well in advance.

Marketing & Events Manager

Summary: Home ReSource is seeking a committed team player to use their expertise, creativity, and operational skills to support our community’s Sustainability Center.  The Marketing & Events Manager position is a supportive role, creating engaging messaging content, working with partners, and supporting Home ReSource events and outreach efforts to help our community reach our waste reduction goals.
This  position pays $20/hour with 40 hrs/week, Monday – Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends

Store Coordinator

Summary: Store Coordinators ensure efficient infrastructure, inventory, and materials management while maintaining safety and operational effectiveness. The role works with the Store Director and Assistant Store Managers to implement strategic plans related to materials storage, processing, and movement, and works with staff, volunteers, and youth intern participants to accomplish tasks efficiently.  
This  position pays $18.00/hour with 34-40 hours/week, Sunday-Wednesday, with some Thursday meetings

ReUse Specialist

Summary: Home ReSource is seeking a Reuse Specialist to join our organizational team. The Reuse Specialist will work in the yard, store, and donations acceptance area. The Reuse Specialist will learn and employ a wide range of skills including customer service, sorting, processing, and stocking building materials; building material identification; basic construction; and reuse. The ideal candidate will work to further the mission, vision, and culture of Home ReSource, operate cooperatively and safely, communicate positively, and be excited to learn with and contribute to our growing organization.  
This permanent position pays $16.75/hour for 32-40 hours/week.

Seasonal ReUse Specialist

Job Summary: Home ReSource is seeking a Reuse Specialist to join our team. This Seasonal Reuse Specialist will work in our store and donations acceptance area during our busy season. The Reuse Specialist will learn and employ a wide range of skills including: customer service, sorting, processing, and stocking building materials all in the spirit of reuse and sustainability. The ideal candidate will work to further the mission, vision, and culture of Home ReSource, operate cooperatively and safely, communicate positively, and be excited to learn with and contribute to our growing organization.
This seasonal position pays $16.50/hour. Days/times to be determined. These positions are from May/June-October 2026.
