Green Team Event Volunteers
Home ReSource is instrumental in providing Zero Waste efforts at many Missoula Events, and we couldn’t do it without the generosity of volunteers!
Join us for one of these upcoming events as a Green Team member and help us make these events more sustainable.
In 2025, Home ReSource led Zero Waste Events for Missoula Pride, Zootown Music Festival, Missoula Marathon, Western Montana Fair and River City Roots Festival. During these events, which served more than 175,000 people, we were able to help divert more than 70,000 pounds of materials from the landfill – a more than 75% diversion rate!
We work with event planners, vendors, and volunteers to help make these events more sustainable.

Green Team Volunteers:
Monitor & sort waste stations during zero-waste community events.
Keeping waste stations clean.
Educate event attendees – “Is this compostable/recyclable?” You will have the answers!
