Did you know there is a fully equipped, professional woodshop inside the Reuse Store? If you have ever wondered what is behind the ReVamp door, this is your invitation to explore.
The woodshop is a welcoming place to learn, build, and create. You can join a hands-on workshop, attend Open Woodshop hours, or get trained to use the tools on your own project.
Whether you are brand new or experienced, there is a way for you to get involved. Use the links below or scroll down to see your options and get started.

Friday Community Open Woodshop Hours
Home ReSource Community Open Woodshop takes place Fridays from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.
Bring your project and use our space, tools, and support to make it happen. All skill levels are welcome.
New to the tools? Start with free tool training from 12:00 to 1:00 PM.
You only need to train on the tools you plan to use. Once trained, you can return anytime during Open Woodshop or sign up for future classes. Please arrive on time, as late arrivals may not be able to complete certification.
Tool trainings follow the schedule below:
First Friday – Miter Saw & Band Saw
Second Friday – Table Saw & Router Table
Third Friday – Jointer & Planer
Fourth Friday – First Come First Serve
Fifth Friday – Overhead Sander & Drill Press
After completing training, you can use a range of professional equipment, including the SawStop table saw, compound miter saw, planer, jointer, drill press, routers and router table, bandsaw, and Tormek sharpening system.

Open Woodshop time is offered on a sliding scale of $15 – 25 per hour, based on household income. (See below for more details.)

Community Workshops
Prefer step-by-step guidance? Community Workshops are hands-on classes where you learn skills and complete a project to take home. They are designed for everyone, from first-time makers to experienced DIYers.
These workshops are offered in partnership with the Lifelong Learning Center. Registration and payment are handled through their website or by phone. Class fees include instruction, shop time, and project materials.

Group Workshops and Team Building
Home ReSource offers hands-on workshops for schools, youth programs, and community groups. Participants learn shop safety, tool use, reuse skills, and job ready woodworking techniques.
Groups can build small projects to take home or work together on items that support the community, such as garden beds for the Missoula Food Bank and Community Center. Past partners include Youth Homes, Girl Scouts, and Forward Montana.
