Individuals
Looking to support a great mission? We need hands-on help for this meaningful work.
Join a group of other folks on big projects around Home ReSource. We might be drying paint (the old trope makes it sound like no fun, but trust us!), organizing sections of the ReUse Store, de-nailing wood, doing yard upkeep, preparing for events, and other activities that help keep valuable materials out of the landfill.
Fixit Clinic Coaches
Fixit Clinics are open to everyone in the community (free-of-charge) to bring in broken items and learn how to fix them.
Do you have skills? Yeah, you do! We need handy folks willing to teach others about problem-solving and assist with fixing their items in need of repair. You don’t have to know everything, just be willing to share what you do know and learn along with the rest of us! Find out more about being a FixIt coach here>>
Green Team Volunteers
Home ReSource Green Team volunteers help keep valuable materials out of the landfill while making community events cleaner and more sustainable. From music festivals to the Western Montana Fair, volunteers guide attendees in sorting recyclables, compostables, and trash, and help more materials find the right bin!

IDEAS Committee Members
Apply to serve on the IDEAS Committee, which considers our work through the lens of inclusion, diversity, equity, accessibility, and sustainability. Join this group of staff, board and other dedicated community members, who supports and guides Home ReSource as we work to fully live up to our Mission, Vision and Values. This committee meets once per month.

Do you have time, skills, and a passion for the mission of Home ReSource? Apply to servr on our volunteer board of directors. While the board is currently full, we are always accepting applications for future board members. Home ReSource board members serve three-year terms. The board meets once per month and helps set the strategic vision for our organization. We strive to have a diverse group of people represented on our board.
