Build and prepare a bat house for a late fall or winter installation. Use your skills to create a new home and habitat for our Montana bat population. Learn about the habitat and location where our bats prefer to live, and how to build a home for them to enjoy. In this class, participants will measure, mark, cut, nail, assemble, and paint this wooden structure in preparation for installation. Participants will receive training on the table saw and miter saw. Home ReSource provides all tools and materials.
Session 1: Tool & safety training, planning cut list, cut pieces
Session 2: Assembly, painting, planning for installation
