Shaker Style Planter Box or Window Box

Join Home ReSource for a hands-on workshop where you’ll craft a beautiful cedar planter or window box! Perfect for beginners and intermediate woodworkers alike, this workshop will guide you through the entire process from raw lumber to finished product. In this course, you will learn how to select and prepare lumber for weather-resistant outdoor construction, and how to line a planter to protect the wood from water and soil. Train on the miter saw and other basic woodworking tools to measure, cut, and assemble your project. All materials are included!

Session 1: Tool training, project development & design, material selection
Session 2: Lay out project, begin cutting parts
Session 3: Assemble frame, begin constructing box
Session 4: Add corner trim, cut mitered top
