Reclaimed Hexagon Shelves

Choose from a selection of reclaimed wood and custom finishes to create this set of 3 hexagon-shaped shelves with hanging hardware. These shelves are great for displaying small decorative items! Customize the size of your shelves to fit your needs, and install them in an orientation that fits your desired aesthetic. An optional center shelf can be added to each for additional storage. During the class, you will learn shop safety, and train on and use the miter saw, jointer, planer, and sander to mill, shape, and assemble the wood for this project.

Skills taught: Shop safety, planing, jointing, cutting, domino jointer, and glue-ups. This project is suitable for all skill levels. Home ReSource will provide all training and materials needed. 

Session 1: Shop safety, jointer, planer, and miter saw training, select and mill wood

Session 2: Sand, cut components, joinery, assembly

Session 3: Final sand, attach hanging hardware, apply finish
