Lunch & Learn: Green Team 101

Join us at Home ReSource on Wednesday, July 15, from 12 to 1 PM for a free Lunch & Learn about how you can help make Missoula’s biggest summer events more sustainable.

Learn how the Home ReSource Green Team and Missoula Compost work together to keep valuable food scraps and recyclables out of the landfill at events like the Western Montana Fair. You’ll discover why this work matters, how you can get involved, and what to expect when volunteering with the Green Team this summer. Last year, the Home ReSource Green Team volunteers helped divert more than 70,000 pounds of waste from the landfill!

We’ll share all more information about the fun perks that come with a three-hour shift, including opportunities to earn rodeo tickets, carnival wristbands, free fair food, and more.
