Lunch & Learn: Adopt-A-Storm-Drain & More!
Join Home ReSource for Lunch & Learn on Wednesday, June 17 from 12 to 1 PM and discover how small neighborhood actions can make a big difference for Missoula’s waterways and aquifer.
Enjoy a free lunch when you register in advance, then hear from Marie Nelson from the City about Missoula’s new Adopt-a-Drain program, a simple volunteer opportunity that helps reduce pollution, prevent neighborhood flooding, and keep storm drains clear of debris. Just fifteen minutes twice a month can help create cleaner waterways and healthier communities for everyone.
You’ll also learn from Kelsie Alling from the Missoula Water Quality District about the year-round Household Chemical Disposal program at Home ReSource and how residents can safely dispose of unwanted chemicals to help protect our environment.
Attendees will have the chance to ask questions, adopt a drain, and learn why Home ReSource recently adopted one of our own.
