Cat Scratch Post Build & Benefit
As part of Zero Waste Action Month, join the team at Home ReSource for a fun, volunteer-led workshop where you will build sturdy cat scratching posts using quality reclaimed materials from our store. In this make-one, take-one format, you will craft one post for your own feline friend and one to donate to AniMeals, where it will be gifted to a family adopting a new kitty.
Choose a design, learn a few simple building techniques, and enjoy an afternoon of creative making for a great cause. No experience is needed. Our volunteers will provide guidance and safety instruction to help ensure everyone has a successful build. It is a purr-fect way to spend an afternoon if you love cats, creativity, and giving back to the community.
AniMeals can always use more scratching posts, and every one we build helps a newly adopted cat feel right at home.
