Want to help Home Resource? We can use volunteers every day, so just show up at the store and someone will put you to work. If you have questions, feel free to call the store at (406) 541-8300, or email josh@homeresource.org or abe@homeresource.org.

Home Resource asks long-term volunteers to select a program structure:

1. Weekly department organization
   Regularly maintain one of our store departments.
2. Weekly general projects
   Assist with whatever projects need attention each week.
3. Special projects, on-call
   Serve as an on-call volunteer for one-time or special events projects (SponCon, the move, etc)

These program structures work for most volunteers, but by no means should they restrict your volunteer potential. We always encourage volunteers to think outside the box, and we are eager to accomodate your specific talents and limitations. Volunteer hours can be conducted during any of our operating hours. Stop by the store, talk to our volunteer coordinator, Josh Decker, and we’ll be sure to find a way you can help.

Rewards
Volunteering not only helps Home Resource expand our waste-to-reuse landfill-diversion programs, but also carries the reward of purchase discounts at Home Resource after 3 months of regularly scheduled volunteer activity. Volunteers are honored bi-yearly at volunteer appreciation events, and they also recieve free entry into events like Spontaneous Construction.
