Intern
Program Structure and Times
Internships can be arranged through most any department at the
University of Montana,
Internship Services at the University of Montana or through another
accredited university/community college. Internships at Home Resource
must be focused upon furthering our organizational mission and be
administered through an academic study program. All internship hours
should be conducted during regular business hours (9am-5pm, Monday
through Saturday).
Rewards
Successful
completion of an internship will not only help Home Resource stabilize
and expand our waste-to-reuse diversion programs, but also carries the
reward of receiving academic credits toward graduation and $50 credit
toward Home Resource purchases. Interns also participate in Home
Resource volunteer appreciation programs and events. Additionally, Home
Resource is an approved site for Montana Campus Compact (MTCC)
administered Americorps Vista programs. Through these programs qualified
individuals can receive financial assistance awards. Individuals
interested should contact
MTCC for detailed instructions and program guidelines.
Americorps awards can be applied toward
current college tuition or educational loans (past, current, or future).
