you do at Home Resource?
Home
Resource has numerous opportunities for individuals and groups looking
to volunteer time toward improving our community. You can help us
realize our mission through either direct volunteering or completing an
academic internship program. We offer you a venue, supervision, and
receptive audience to help you realize your community involvement
dreams. Opportunities for both volunteers and interns range widely, from
creating artistic and informative displays to
organizing one of our material departments (see volunteer spotlight on
page 3 of our Newsletter), from helping accept donations to helping
customers find unique items, from teaching a
workshop to refurbishing donated
items (see "thousands of
compliments for only $10" on page 4 of our Newsletter), from
writing an article for our newsletter to researching building
technologies or alternative materials use. You can also propose new
ideas or program areas. Come visit with us and we'll help you create the
ideal job for your interests and skills.
