Internships

Program Structure
Internships can be arranged through most any department at the University of Montana, Internship Services at the University of Montana or through another accredited university/community college. Internships at Home Resource must be focused upon furthering our organizational mission, and must be administered through an academic study program. All internship hours should be conducted during regular business hours.

Rewards
A successful internship experience, by both helping realize our mission and by helping stabilize and expand our operations, brings honor not only to yourself, but to Home Resource also. Internship also carries with it the tangle rewards of receiving academic credits, discounted Home Resource purchases, community contacts, and resumé references. Interns also recieve Home Resource volunteer appreciation programs and events. Additionally, Home Resource is an approved site for Montana Campus Compact (MTCC) administered Americorps Vista programs. Through these programs qualified individuals can receive financial assistance awards. Individuals interested should contact MTCC for detailed instructions and program guidelines. Americorps awards can be applied toward current college tuition or educational loans (past, current, or future).
