Denton’s Point Lodge on Georgetown Lake
In the summer of 2007, Home Resource launched its deconstruction program by dismantling the Denton’s Point Lodge on Georgetown Lake. The Denton’s Point Lodge was the largest building in Granite County, MT. 80% of salvaged materials were resold on-site and reused within 10 miles of the project, providing affordable building materials to a geographically isolated community.
Karst Stage Bus Barn in Anaconda, MT
In January of 2008, Home Resource collaborated with Heritage Timber to deconstruct and salvage the roof structure of the 14,000 sqft Karst Stage Bus Barn in Anaconda, MT. Home Resource and Heritage Timber subcontracted the salvage of the roof, and the general contractor salvaged the bricks walls of the building.
Liberty Lanes
In spring of 2008, Home Resource deconstructed Liberty Lanes bowling alley in Missoula, reusing and recycling 83% by volume of the building, diverting from the landfill a total of 1128.65 tons material! From this project we salvaged amazing maple and fir bowling lanes, a 14,000 sqft steel framed building, a walk-in coolor, glu-lam beams, and more! Most of the materials were sold directly off the site, and reused within 10 miles of the project, reducing CO2 emissions and proving valuable reusable materials to the Missoula community.
Florence Fire Depot
Over three short days in the spring of 2009, Home Resource deconstructed the Fire Depot, in the town of Florence, MT. We salvaged the entire 60′ x 65′ steel building. We still have this building for sale, so please inquire!!
Elrod Hall
In summer of 2009, Home Resource, in collaboration with Dave Taylor roofing, salvaged a 10,000 sqft spanish clay tile roof, originally built in 1921, from Elrod Hall at the University of Montana. 100,000 lbs of clay tile was salvaged from the project and sold to Tile Roof, INC in Fairview, Illinois.
